About
Kind 1
Buddy's life was defined by kindness and helping others. He was always willing to help anyone in need, from changing tires, assisting stranded strangers, to helping his friends and loved ones in anyway needed.
He loved to cook and came up with some very strange but shockingly good concoctions.
He was a true Patriot and anxious to serve his country. A very dedicated soldier and a proud member of the North Carolina National Guard B BTRY 1/113 FA, in Monroe NC.
Bud attended Cafe Fear Community College and was at the happiest point in his life.
Life will never be the same without him.
As a tribute to the two brave Marines, and the Columbus County Deputy, who risked their lives to pull our son from a burning wreck (10-22-2007), we will be donating to "Toys For Tots" (a Marine Corps Charity). in North Carolina, West Virginia, and Tennessee. In this way their selfless acts of courage, devotion to helping others in need ,and acts of bravery will be honored by helping children. These men also gave the gift of sight to two people since we were able to donate Homer's corneas.Thank you Cpl Steven Morse,Cpl Carl McCauley, and Jeff Marlowe. Mere words could never express our gratitude to these brave and wonderful men.
QUOTE: "It is foolish and wrong to mourn the men who died. Rather we should thank God that such men lived"-General George S. Patton

mom and i are trying io help with the frg at the guard unit, and seeing the young men that were his comrades hurts us, and helps us both. it is a mixed blessing to see them, to touch them, to know their love . they honor our son as we honor them.
