You are my great grandfather on my mothers side. I still remember back when I was little and every summer we would all wake up early at 4AM and drive down to New Jersey at your house and stay there for a while. They were some of the best times of my life, irreplacable memories. I remember you taking us to the beach and us playing in the sand and water. I remember you swimming with us in your pool out back. I even remember sitting down and watching movies together, but as I got older things changed and we stopped coming down. The last time I saw you I believe was in about 2005 or around there. It was a pretty good time that I enjoyed and will always remember. I regret not having as much to do with you as I did when I was little because you were a great man and a great influence to all and who set great example for what family was. I love you grandpa and always will R.I.P.

Little is known about this man because he never really talked about himself ,he would always ask you how you where , Well now it is time for someone to tell his story, This is a man who at the old age of 16 joined the US Navy as a Corpsmen to fight in World War 2. Can't tell you how he did that he wouldn't want you to know like I said he didn't like to talk about himself. He was assaigned to a Marine Unit at the invasion of Guadelcanal. But you see that was him "saving a life", how do i know this because he has saved mine and the rest of his family ever since. I'm a former Marine and understand how important it is to have a person in your life like this, I am also his Son so Dad thank you for making me the way I am because my son has followed us. I love you and when i look in the mirror I will always think of you and you will be missed a hell of alot by everyone. I will see you again you can count on it and hell I can't have what I owe you put in my jacket pocket I would need a tractor trailer to pay you back. I love you and SEMPER FI
