This is the Panar man eating leopard which killed 400 human beings before it was shot and killed by Corbett in 1910. The picture is taken from the book THE TEMPLE TIGER & MORE MAN EATERS OF KUMAON by Jim Corbett (Oxford University Press), first published in 1954
