Princess Jackie

Rhonda St. Romain Aug 18, 2008

Let me tell you about the Jackie that I knew.. She was was my marathon shopping buddie. We could tell you what was on every aisle of walmart across this country. She loved animals.. she LOOOVVVEDDD Kenny Chesney. She would leave silly messages on my answering machine. and at the end she would always say really fast. "ok, love you miss you bye"
She discovered that she loved all things Huckleberry while we were on a trip to Yellowstone. She was very protective of me and always told me grow a backbone and I always told her to lighten up. we were good like that together. In the last few years we went our seperate ways as that is what happens in the life of the military. but we always managed to stay in touch. I was the maid of honor at her wedding. I never had any sisters, but I am sure that if I did, I would want her to be Jackie. she was my best friend. and I loved her so!! I didn't know her as a soldier!! I knew she was one, but she was just Princess Jackie to me!! it's been a month yesterday since she left us and I have talked to her in my dreams a couple of times. I know she is around and she fusses at me for being sad. She was a beautiful person! inside and out. she was an incredible soldier and was very dedicated to her career and the military it was who she was.. she was a loving wife to a wonderful man~~ she was a Daughter who was fiercly protective of her mama.. ~ she was a sister, and auntie and a friend. all of us loved her in our own way. She was the type of person that when you met her, your life was touched forever. I am truly blessed for having known her. and in my mind I still have her. she is an Angel and she is saving me a spot, so when I get to the other side we can hang out again. I love my guardian angel and although I am selfish and want her here!! I know that she is with us in spirit and in our hearts and that is comforting. I wish that I could tell the world what a incredible human being this woman was and how much she is loved and missed. but I am pretty sure that she knows and really that is all that matters.
I love you and miss you Jackie. I will see you when I get there!!

We will miss you girl and thank you again for understanding me and being there when I needed a hand. Until we meet again, soar with the angels and keep us all safe. God bless you and goodbye.
