Jade has left us. Jade died in her sleep on Mother's Day at the age of 27. We will miss this brave soul.

Always in our eye

died at home in Upshire, Essex, overnight on Saturday after a battle with cancer.

Goody was diagnosed with cervical cancer in 2008 but the disease spread to her liver, groin and bowel and she was told it was terminal in February.

She had been treated at the Royal Marsden Hospital in west London but wanted to die at home with her family.

She wanted "to spend all the time she had got left" with new husband Jack Tweed and sons, Bobby, five, and Freddy, four.

i turned on my tv and you were on so vibrant and energised . i didn't know wat the program was about until the second apisode. Wow i watched you till the end and all the way thru it you were so posative, i even taped your wedding. R.i.p. Jane Goody, save me a place

I somehow stumbled across your name and story, not even knowing who you were.. But I was drawn in, any way. I've been reading a lot abt. you. Not only were you very beautiful BUT interesting, as well.
I hope you are at full peace in heaven, enjoying it's pleasures YET still able to keep your eye on your sons here on earth.. God bless you, Jade. oxo
