When I was little, my grandfather used to play Santa Clause for me. When I was 3 or 4, he was very sick and needed an operation and it was scheduled right before Christmas. He postponed his operation so Santa could come and visit me despite him being very, very sick.
He ran with the bulls in Spain despite my grandmother telling him not to do it. He told her he didn't but was caught on the front page of the newspaper. He never lived that one down.
There are so many things about my grandfather that I miss. The one I miss most is being able to talk to him and hug him. He was so honest, interesting, intelligent and caring. I could talk to him about anything.
