Missing You

jgurlz Aug 22, 2009

You were my friend-my "Neighbour"-I loved your kind heart and the way you always treated my "Dear" with respect. You were there for me when I needed to talk about it and I am so sad that we lost you. I feel like you had so much ahead and pray that you are with my "dear" and you two are ripping it up! Such huge presences! Almost one year, thinking about you and still can't believe it. Missing and loving you...

HEY BRO

Sonny Aug 15, 2009

APRIL 12 IS JEDS BITHDAY, LET'S CELEBRATE THIS DAY!

The Sound of Silence

T. Oct 15, 2008

Remember when we used to sing stuff out of that fat lyrics and chords book? When it was your turn, you always did something really goofy. There was one time that you grabbed the mic and said, "This is a song called 'Silence.'" Then you opened your mouth and scrunched your face up, but never uttered a sound. And we all laughed because you were always so cheesy yet clever and avant-garde.

Wherever you are, I hope you're eating plenty of chocolate cake and ice-cream.

My Memory JED

Memories of Jed

To begin with, Jed was one of the closest friends I ever had. I originally met Jed through his cousin, Jon Abacan. At first I wasn't sure whether he should have hung out with us because he was a little younger than we were; but the thing I found out about Jed right away was his ability to fit in with anyone he hung out with. It didn't long for him and I to become good friends; almost brothers.

Jed probably knew and understood me better than anyone else I have ever known. He never judged me or turned his back on me or anyone else for that matter. He was a loyal person who enjoyed being around people. There were many times when we would hang out and do stupid pranks just for the fun of it. It was fairly low-brow humour, but to Jed it was all good times.

One thing I remember in particular is when I was driving my infamous grey van down 3 road and stopped at a corner and asked someone "Where is No. 3 Road?" Like I said, pretty low-brow humor, but being the guy that he was, Jed never felt above anything like that. In fact, he laughed more than I did at stuff like that.

Jed always knew how to get all his friends together, for a night of laughs, drinking and fun, People would call me, and say they’re bored, I would say hold on let me call JED, next thing I knew we were somewhere having drinks, he always knew how to plan a good time. Sometimes, Jed would call me and say, “let’s go eat” and we would find a Chinese restraunt where we would order a dish of bbq on rice.

Jed was such a loyal person; he would never turn his back on a friend no matter what happened. I remember some of the weird situations we were in together and he would always be there by my side. Even though I was older and bigger than him, he had a heart of a Lion!

Truth is, Jed loved to have all his friends around him whether it was for a dinner or an evening at the bar; and his generosity constantly amazed me. He made sure all his friends had a good time, and made sure everything was taken care of, many times paying the bill for everyone before he left.

Jed also loved to sing and I have many fond memories of getting dragged to the Karaoke bar, and watching him sing songs as if he was playing at a concert hall. He would ask, “what you want to hear Sonny” and I would say “Hotel California”. When he sang, it was like listening to the real thing.

Another funny thing about Jed was how he used to blow his nose and throw the used Kleenex’s on the ground, and I would have to dodge them like they were landmines. The best was when Jed was a little tipsy I would say to the other guys, “I bet the shirt will come off in 15 minutes”, and guess what, his shirt was off in 15 minutes.

My most memorial times with Jed was our crazy trips to Philippines, always something crazy would happen, and someone would end up with a new nickname by the end of the trip, him and his nicknames!

Jed supposed to come to Philippines this December, but now we still need to go, as he would have said, “go guys have fun”, so to honor my bud we will go and have fun, we will give a toast to him to all the places he took us to.
Rest in Peace buddy.

I will miss u little buddy

My Sweet Jesse James...

You little shit, why? How are we going to go on without the days filled with your sarcasm, your racial slurs, your off-key squawks to the songs on the radio, your bitching and moaning of wanting to settle down and have kids, your laugh, your Fleetwood Mac blaring on your stereo, your allergic reactions, your constant blowing of your nose and your warm love to the ones that are close to you.

You are the little brother I never had. I will never forget you, as I know you will never forget us....

Jed was somebody that you instantly liked, He was one of the kindness people I've ever met.. You were destined for more..but god had bigger plans for you. I wish I could have said the things I wanted to say when I had the chance, but we always had a common ground of understanding for one another. Your always be my sheepy.. and I will miss you dearly.

Thank you for giving me the chance of being a part of your life.. I'll always remember what a talented, caring, person you were.
