Jamie Thompson Tribute

Jamie Leigh Thompson, age 29, of Gulf Breeze, FL, fought the fight of her life for the last four years with lupus, pulmonary hypertension and many other complications. She went home to be with the Lord on Friday, August 1, 2008.

Jamie was born in Pensacola but was raised on Pensacola Beach, FL. She graduated from Gulf Breeze High School, and from the University of West Florida. She was a member of St. Ann's Catholic Church in Gulf Breeze, FL, and attended missionary trips with the church. She also modeled for local stores and fashion shows in the local area.

Jamie was a very strong courageous person who enjoyed and had a passion for life and lived it to the fullest. She loved her family and friends deeply. One of her greatest rewards was working as a legal death investigator for the Medical Examiner's Office in Pensacola.

She was preceded in death by her uncle, Ron Thompson.
