In memory of Janis

Janis Joplin was known as the first queen of rock 'n' roll, and her voice is singular. She was rough around the edges, vulnerable and charismatic, and she paved the way for countless women in rock. Joplin was most famous for her hit-song “Me and Bobby McGee”, which topped the U.S. charts after she died in 1971.

Janis Joplin was only 27 years old when she died of an overdose.

Janis, desde que escuche tus canciones, me cambiaste la vida, tú musica me transporta, tu voz y tu interpretación al cantar tan desgarradora y sincera me transmite tantas cosas!!! Ahora tengo el gusto de poder difundir tu música en mi País (Perú), donde tantos te habían olvidado y algunos ni te habían dado la oportunidad de escucharte.
Trato de homenajearte, pues se que tú eres inigualable y en cada presentación en la interpreto tus temas le pongo la garra y pasión que aprendí de ti. Gracias por todo mi querida Janis, genia! No te tocó una vida fácil, pero eso hizo que pudieras escribir con el corazón y nos dejaras un legado maravilloso!!! Gracias por todo!!! Espero ahora estés satisfecha con mi trabajo, que prometo que cada día irá mejorando! :)
