I have 100 memories of Jason back to our student days. He was lovely, good fun, kind, talented. I'm so sorry for Corinne and everyone who loved him, my heart goes out to you. I know how it is to lose someone you really love, such a waste to die so young, so sad. His memory will stay alive.

I'll miss you too..

I was shocked to hear the news - Jason was one of the best session players I've worked with and was a constant delight with his combative theological positions and his impassioned defence of free thinking. I will miss him a lot.

I was touched and moved upon hearing about the passing of your spiritual soulmate. We love you "Corinne" and will keep you in our prayers. You have such a beautiful spririt and there is no doubt "Jason" must have been the same. He is at a "higher level of consciousness now". Peace & Love..........One of your biggest fans.....Anita Wilkson.

My Memory

Andy Irving Mar 26, 2008

I only met Jason a few times but saw him play a hundred times. The first time i met him was when he played with chunky butt funky on my wedding day when i found out that he and Malcolm had gone to the same music college as me. They were like two peas from the same pod.
Jason is one of those people i'll never forget having a conversation with. You just know when someone shines. He was an amazing saxophonist and flautist. I was deeply saddened to hear the news of his passing. My heart goes out to Corinne, Jasons parents and all his close family and friends. He was a true legend and the scene will not be the same without him. R.I.P Jason. See you in the sequel...
