Jerahmia Lee McDonald Tribute

    Jerahmia Lee McDonald, 24, of Welch, OK died from an automobile accident, Friday, May 23, 2008.

    He was born September 22, 1983 in Joplin, MO and has been a lifelong area resident.

    He was last employed at Monroe Manor in Jay, OK as a CNA.  and has worked as a home health nurse and at various other nursing homes. He was very gifted  with elderly people and loved helping anyone he could in any way.  He loved parties, get togethers, holidays, driving his car and being cool.  He had such a good heart.  He enjoyed singing, in fact the music that is playing on this tribute is from a CD that he recorded in his late teens.

    He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Vanessa and Monty Cudney of Baxter Springs; his father and stepmother, Terry and Becky McDonald of Riverton.  Paternal grandparents, Clara and Pete Brown of Columbus; Maternal grandparents, Bernard Kreiger and Deana G. Krieger of Rogers, AR, and Mary "Granny" Krieger of Columbus; three sisters,  Melissa Mae Scott and husband Jason of Miami, OK, Rebecka Sue Cudney of Columbus; and Molly McDonald of Riverton; two brothers, Matt McDonald and Andy McDonald, both of Riverton.  Aunt Shirley McWilliams of Crestline, Uncle and Aunt, Lee and Elizabeth Kreiger, a niece, Brooklin Dawn Scott, Miami, OK; cousins, Sean and Scott McWilliams, Nathaniel and Kendra and Seth Kreiger.

    Funeral Services were held on May 28 at the Bethel Community Church of Baxter Springs, with Pastor Mark Kerr, officiating.  Burial was in Lone Elm Cemetery north of Columbus.  Pallbearers were Jason Scott, James Johnson, Randy Cudney, Terry McDonald, Ted Daniel , and Jim Tunnell.

    Services were under the direction of Defelt's Funeral Home of Baxter Springs.
