i was 14..my friend robin and i begged our parents to go...we climbed over all the people and got right up front..i could reach up and touch jims boot with my hand...it was the 1st really big concert i'd go to...we got all the doors signatures but jims...he was late arriving.....and would not be on the balcony...the concert it seemed even to us he never got it together...he'd start a song and drop it...but i'll tell you this i never saw his thing...and i'll swear i was lookin at him the whole time...i remember when he jumped in the crowd and everyone followed him...it was one of the greatest nights of my life

Love street was the first song i heard from The Doors, from that moment on i knew i had witnessed something special. Now 20 years on i know every song backwards and it has been an honour to have spent this time with Jims spirit in my heart, When im down, i let jims eccentric singing, shamenistic enigma help me out of bad times, We met once whilst i was on acid but its my memory and ill never forget that moment, RIP jim Morrison xxx

If it wasn't for this beautiful, soulful humanbeing many generations (even souls arriving on this earth much after Jim's passing) would not have his music, poetry and inspiration to use... Such a shaman.. I am a poet and I feel Jims words (his poetic mind) has opened mine on many occassion.
I would love to of met him on earth, But know I shall meet him at sometime on some plain...

Jim Morrison's songs fill with peace...I listen to the Doors to find my center after hectic filled days. My fiance pasted away 13 years ago and the Doors was always in his tape player.

i have been moved by you jim in my life you showed me that no matter what anybody thinks as long as you dont pretend and you are real and authentic people will love you more you also helped my with your music be able to make beautiful music and poetry of my own i wish i would have had a chance to meet you i hope you and pam are together now and nothing can break your circle you are the lizard king and you did everything i love you jim morrison and you will always be in my heart.
