About

WE LOST A MOTHER

We lost a mother with a heart of gold,

How much we miss her can never be told.

She shared our troubles and helped us along,

If we follow her footsteps we will never go wrong.

We miss you from our table,

Your loving smiles and gentle air.

Your vacant place no one can fill,

We miss you mother and always will.

She was a mother so very rare,

Content in her home and always there.

On earth she toiled, in Heaven she rests,

God Bless you mother, you were one of the best.

Each time we took your picture

You seem to smile and say,

Dont be sad but courage take

And love each other for my sake.

Oh sweet Jesus, for the sake of of Thy bitter

passion and the sorrows of Thy Immaculate Mother,

have mercy on her soul and let the light of Thy countenance

shine upon her...

My Memory

Daniel G. Tassa Jun 04, 2009

I remember Nana would give words of wisdom in her own way. She spoke from the heart and her wisdom would linger years down the road.

For My Nana

Donna Tassa Sanford Jul 03, 2008

To leave the world a little better;
Whether by a healthy child, a garden patch,
or redeemed social condition;
To know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived.
This is the meaning of success.
-- Ralph Waldo Emerson

We all are better people because you lived and you will continue to live in each and every one of us. We are eternally greatful the Lord gave us you, so much we don't want to give you back. But we must and so rest now sweet Nana and smile down on us often.
I love you, I'll miss you, and I'll see you in the funny papers. XXXOOO Donna
