About

We'll Never Forget You John

It's hard to put into words how much John meant to everyone that knew him. He was loved and respected by everyone, and was without a doubt one of the most caring people you'd ever meet. He was a Husband, a Step-Father, a Pop Pop, a Brother, an Uncle, and especially a Friend. He was always making a new friend, everytime we turned around..

He worked at New Lisbon Developmental Center in New Jersey, which specializes in caring for mentally challenged men and woman, were he always went above and beyond and cared not only for the individuals he took care of, but for his co-workers as well. The best way that I could sum it up is to just say that people loved him. They loved his protectiveness, and his was of making a heavy situation lighter, with his silly jokes.

When he wasn't working, or spending time with his family, he loved quading, camping, going to Concerts, taking trips to Atlantic City, anything that had to do with having fun. He was a blast to be around, and could always make you laugh. There was a time when all his silly jokes would make me a little annoyed, and now all I want is to hear them again. Just one more time.

It's hard to imagine that someone so signifigant, and so loved, could be gone in a blink of an eye. Our lives will never be the same. We all Love and Miss you John. The Holidays really have everyone thinking alot more about you, and wishing you were here. But everytime I start to cry, I just remember your voice saying "Don't cry Terr-Anne", and it makes me laugh again, like you did so well.

So, even though you're gone, you are very much still here. In all of our hearts, and memories you will live forever.

Terrin

My memory

Sandy Straub Dec 27, 2010

I am sorry to hear about this. I just happened to find online because we had lost touch a few years back. I met him in Texas when I was 16 and my sister was dying of cancer., he made everything seem like it would be okay and he could always make me laugh. He was an incredible person...I could never forget him, and I doubt I ever will with all those we love...he was a rare friend in my life...only the second I can say I felt I would have as a life long friend no matter how long we were not speaking....I am sorry for the loss....
