Q. What was Daniel Joseph Risley's family life like?
A. Danny had a pretty unstable family life as a child.. His parents divorced when he was three. His mother remarried and that was a little rocky. Then after a few years things got real good. Daniel lived life to the fullest as a child. The family went fishing a lot when he was little. Danny participated in baseball and basketball in school. The family had show horses and they traveled together a lot to show them. Danny loved to show them. He did not like to muck stalls much.The family spent a l lot of quality time together.Danny and his mother had a very close relationship.

A. Well as his little brother I learn very quickly had to take a beating. And not just by him but by his friends. But I guess that's what brothers were for. We grew up not knowing our father, because he left us when dan was 4 years old. I am 3 years younger than him . So I was only 1 year old. Then a man stepped into our lives and basically took over, and was very good to us. He raised us until we were adults. Then when our stepfather got busted for making a mistake. When we went to florida to meat our father and that's when he met heather. I remember being jelious because I liked her first Until got to know her.. Then a month or two later they decided to come to vincennes.. Then on may 10th which is my birthday. met dan at the bar . after that I gave him a ride home. then at 3:00 am I asked him to ryan russels bands afterparty. hung out there till around 5 am. Then I left you at the party when i was suppose to take you ..Then I get a phone call at eight in the morning saying get to the hospital...Not knowing i would never see you until I pass on.. Just want to say I love you and rest in peace

Q. Did Daniel Joseph Risley have siblings? Were they close?
A. Danny had a brother named Jason Allen . They grew up together and were very close. They had a bond like no other. He also had a brother named Gregory Earl Thorne. They grew up together. They also were very close. The 3 of them lived and laughed and hung together. They also done some crazy things together. But the greatest thing of all was their love and bond to each other. Danny aslo had some siblings he did not know well. He until a few months before he left us had never even met some of them. He has a sister named Sara. A sister named Heather, he had visited her many times and had got to know her . They spent a few years as toddlers together, but drifted apart when his parents divorced. One thing about Danny, he was into his family.

Q. Did Daniel Joseph Risley have a favorite or memorable family story?
A. My favorite memery of Danny when he told me ,,when we all together at Sullivan Park and went boating,water sking,swimming,we made hamburgs that brought debbie and i had everthing esle,then he began laugh about his mom[debbie] and me riding the tube funny ,ha, ha it was funny! ! Danny was a great person . Danny loved his mom and stepdad you could see that love when they were together, Debbie &Mike did a good job raising their sons ..when you see the boys with owen childern the love they show is so wonderful. debbie&mike don;t ever let anyone say you were not good parents,cause you were ,when they see you with katie and other grandchildern all they will see is love &respect. the same love &respect you have for the boysand the boys have you&Mike....
