joyce henrietta brawls Tribute

my mum died on feb 27th 2008 at 6pm form multiple myeloma. My dad Jimmy, her partner for 36 years and i were holding her hands when she passed into Gods prescence.She had fought her illness for seven years with incredible courage and always with a smile. She was always optimistic she would never be defeated by her cancer and such was her compassion towards my dad and i that when she discovered she was actively dying  her only concern was the thought of leaving us alone. I promised her she would not die alone and i kept my promise. I am so grateful to God that he gave her one last christmas with us. To look at her photograph taken on christmas day it is hard to believe she was dying. I was proud to call her my mum and i have lost the best friend i ever had. We were together every day and the pain of losing her will never leave me. I count the days until we are reunited. God bless you mum you truly are a shining star now.   xxx
