About

PSALMS 23

The LORD Is My Shepherd
23 Psalm
The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.
2 He maketh me to lie down in green [1] pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.
3 He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
5 Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest [2] my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.

Memories

Forever In Our Hearts

Rose Nelson Aug 06, 2007

I know what it is like to loose a very close loved one. My mom has only been with The Lord for 2 years and I still see her everywhere I turn. I am so sorry for your loss.

A poem entitled " Who was she to me?"

Lucinda Audain Jun 03, 2007

Who was she to me?

She was my grandmother.
The mother of my mother.
She was more than a grandmother;
More like a second mother

She was so loving towards me.
As she cared for me.
As she was nurturing towards me.

She was my protector.
My supporter.
My biggest motivator.
My friend.

Someone I could turn to.
Someone I looked up to.
She was giving.
She was a survivor.
She was a leader.
She was a force to be reckon with.
Yet she was humble as a dove.
As she possessed the faith of Abraham.

Who was she?
She was MoM.
She was Judith.
She was Ms. Elise.
She was my grandmother.

I can sit here and go on and on about who she was,
But the fact remains is that she WAS.

I wish she still would be.
Would be like I am.
Still living.
But I am as she was.
I am, for she has taught me.
I am all the things she was.
Being me I know she is still living.
For I am.

Forever existing within me are her philosophies of life
, which will always withstand the tests of time;
as she will be known for generations to come.
Because she wasn’t just my grandmother,
She was Judith Elise Richardson.
A true blessing.
