Growing up one of my favorite shows on TV was The Adevtures of Brisco County Jr. The character who always had a funny, whitty come back was Bouler. I love that show so much I had to get the complete series on DVD. It was very sad finding out Julius has passed but he will never be forgotten. That's why I titled this after his famous saying as Bouler, "Damn".
A naturally gifted performer; he will be missed. His roles in "The Last Dragon" and "Brisco County" are the stuff of pop culture legend due to his willingness to inhabit his characters, however over the top they may be. He was a staple on television and lived a very accomplished life on Earth. Julius will live on through his work. There is no chance this gifted actor will be forgotten.
I am 51 years old and can remember Julius in many character roles. He was pure class this guy. No matter what teh role, you could tell he was serious about getting it right. Television and the Big Screen will be a darker place without your talents Mr. Carry.
We've been watching all the Brisco episodes through Netflix. I am going to get the Last Dragon too. Amazing actor. We miss you Lord Bowler. We were so sorry the show didn't have more runs but we love the ones that did take place. Binidiciones de Nuevo Mexico. Moosella
As Lord Bowler in the series "The Adventures of Briscoe County Jr." Julius Carry added a depth to the show that dignified the persona of the Buffalo Soldier in post-civil war America.
The highlight of the series may well have been the moment that Brisco showed up destitute on Bowlers doorstep seeking charity and the butler exclaimed, "Yes! Mr. County, His Lordship's faithful sidekick! Do come in!"
Seldom has an actor ever made a character as alive and believable as J.C. was able to do with the Bowler character.
I'm not very much into martial arts movies - other than Jackie Chan - but I do intend to see "the Last Dragon" just for one more chance to see this great actor in action.
The Last Dragon was an amazing film for me as a 9 year old kid and even up to now at the age of 33. I love the film so much I incorporated the name Last Dragon for my EBay and You Tube accounts. Taimak as Bruce Leroy, Glen Eaton (Where is this funny guy?) as Johnny Yu, Vanity as Laura Charles, Ernie Reyes Jr as Tai and especially Julius as Sho'Nuff will always remain etched in my memory. The film just had that 80's touch of magic complimented by the song Rhythm of the night by DeBarge. Man that is such a good feel song!! I hope a tribute will be made to Julius when the remake is released. Sho'Nuff to me you were and will always be the meanest, prettiest, baddest mo-fo, low-down, around!! RIP

I recently saw this man in one of, "The Unit's" first season's shows and thought I knew him as Louis when I lived in the San Fernando Valley. His looks, mannerisms and height all seem right but he went by Louis when I knew him from The Church on the Way in Van Nuys, CA.
If it's the guy I knew then he was very nice and I was pleasantly surprised to see that he really was an actor when I saw how versatile he was in the part he played.

Does anyone out there know him as Louis?
