Karen Aim

Born in Taupo Sep 06, 2010

I Use to walk my dog down the same street where Karen stayed, where she was attacked. I use to enjoy these walks, which ended at the tranquil riverside reserve just 50 metres away.
These walks soon became fewer and were less about enjoyment, instead exchanged for a hundred thoughts of WHY?
I placed some flowers on the corner as soon as possible, and didn't know what else I could do.
I decided that I just needed to remember someone I never actually knew and that this was all I could do.
I no longer live in Taupo, no longer walk there, but everytime I do go back I will remember you Karen and what happened.
I will try to look past the ugly and I will once again see the beautiful place that will forever remain a symbol of something that sholuld never have happened.
Much love and respect to you and your family and friends.
