Karen's death is the hardest blow not only for its native and friends, but also, without exaggeration for all Armenia.
Last time we met in November 2007 in the World Youth championship in Antalya (see the photo). Karen gone there to help the Armenian chess players. As always, gratuitously. As if feeling that we see each other last time, in spite of the fact that we lived with Karen in different hotels, we spent with each other a lot of time. Sympathetic, kind, cheerful - Karen was the favourite of all who knew him...
You will be always remebered, Karen. R.I.P.

I know that you will hear this as I believe that you are in a better place, resting from this world, but you should know that life is hard without you and we miss you too much. You are in our mind and our heart and on the eve of the new year you are we wish peace to your soul.

I know that you will hear this as I know that you are there, in a better place. But you are also in our mind and in or heart all the time and It is too hard without you. We miss you Karen so much that we can physically feel the pain. Even on the eve of the new year we can't think about anything but you. Peace to your soul brother.

We are Armenians living in France. Karen spend sevaeral days at home. So simple, so friendly. All the family is thinking about him and his family. It's a loss for all of us. We will neveer forget him. As a chess plauer and also as a exceptional friend. Requiescat in pace.
