LLewellyn Lew Goode Tribute

I have many memories of Lew. My favourite memory was his smile. It was always so sincere and I would love to be able to see it again. MIss you Lew.

I have alot of memorys but the one thing i remember is him on my grandmas drive way with aunt sharon and the kids drawing a pitcher of a 4x4.

This is going way back. But I Had this P.O.S. 4x4, little green s10 thing and lew had this great idea. We jack it up toss a lift kit under it some over sized tires and have some fun. So the day of the mud runs the concept was to toss the spare tires to Nicks truck into the box of mine with all the tools and I can jump in with them leaving my truck as the "Pit crew". We get out to the dunes and for the first time ever they have the "off road course" for the smaller 4x4's so that they dont have to go through the huge mud pits. Lew suggests I should go and enter this it would be fun. we line up the trucks and damn we are first in line, I have no clue where these off road courses are either does lew. so the day is about to begin, im the first truck on the line and no idea where i am suppose to go either does lew. so i ask him what should i do, He smiles and says gun it or your swimming, so there we went an entire day of mudding and surprisingly we didnt get stuck that day. Other fond memories are stuff like building the shaggy dune buggy. that thing was a trip. and I made him get dressed in a monkey suit for my first wedding. No matter what it was Charlie could always make someone smile. He was just that type of guy. Man I miss having him around.
