Lauren Burk Tribute

My mom and I went to NYC this past December and when we boarded out flight I noticed a guy with an Auburn hat on and a girl with an Auburn sweatshirt. Being an Auburn student also I said "Hello" and continued on to my seat. A few days later my mom and I were in Tiffany's and we saw the couple again. They were smiling and holding hands and looked like they were having fun. We smiled at each other and did the whole "small world" thing and continued on our way. When I saw the facebook group dedicated to Lauren I realized that she was the nice girl from the airplane. I am shocked and saddened. My prayers are with her family and friends. The smile that she shot me as I said "War Eagle" that day on the airplane will be with me forever. May she rest in peace.
