Lauren left us too soon!

According to the Missouri Highway Patrol Lauren was killed in a late night wreck on Highway 67. The crash happened at the intersection of US-67 at MO-158 6 miles south of Poplar Bluff.

The patrol's crash report states 17-year-old Lauren Capper of Poplar Bluff was driving a 2003 Pontiac car when she pulled off of 158 into the path of a 2005 Freightliner truck heading south on 67.

Capper was hit by the truck on the passenger side of her car, causing both vehicles to end up off the road.

The driver of the Freightliner, 56-year-old Donald Nutt of Paragould, received moderate injuries. Nutt was taken to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.

Both Capper and Nutt were wearing seat belts at the time of the crash.

almost everyday of school i seen her and im like wow she really pretty and in my head i was thinking that something was about to happen to hers o one day i was hoping i was going to have the guts to tell her to be careful and it was alil to late i really wish i could tell her to be careful i really miss her and wish she was back to tell her to be careful

i miss u lauren so much u were alot to me i have my thoughs of u all the time wishing u were here with us but your in a better place so i will not want to take u out of it ;ove u and see u when i get up there

Lauren was the craziest and loudest person I know. I remember all my memories with her and not one of them was boring. At times she had me more mad than I thought I ever could get, but then i seemed to get over it just fine and ended up laughing all the time at her dumb ideas or the crazy things she would say or do. I came back to Neelyville in the 10th grade. I didnt get along with her until the end of our 11th grade year and we were pretty good friends. I'm glad god gave me that time, cuz i got to see how great of a person Lauren is and i will miss her so much.
