A. She and I wanted to start a small plant nursery, she loved plants/flowers. She also teased years ago about having a restaurant in the shape of a cabbage lol .. she made the most delicious stuffed cabbage, and her potato salad has never been matched.

A. She lived for her children, sadly her son Monte passed away in 1991. He is very missed, and a tribute page is done in his honor also :) She loved listening to her Grandson James play the piano, was so very proud of her Grandchildren, and enjoyed her last year with them. She loved to tease and each have a story of how she made them laugh.

A. She loved Pavorotti! Dean Martin..would make her swoon, and she was one of the few who encouraged me to follow my heart..where ever it lead. :) She was an excellent artist, but enjoyed crocheting the most.

A. She absolutley loved 'lady bugs' and I would make certain to always find one as a trinkett. She loved gardening, animals and 'Dancing with the Stars' show.

A. A warm Milwaulkee's best (ick!) a tender steak, and having her hair done. She loved shopping in thrift stores for the 'old fashioned' style of the 50's. She loved a swishy skirt.. and Marilyn Monroe peek-a-boo toed heels. My Mom was a class act!

Q. Was Leila Mae Lowe a romantic?
A. Terribly romantic, she told me of her love of one man named John, though they were never intimate..' they fell deeply in Love..and sadly they lost touch.. her heart ached for him.. As she had me read their letters to each other from 1967 , at the age of 79... and she wept for him. He must have been quite a man..as he captivated her heart for over 40 years.
At last they are together :)
