Cai and his father were just starting an epic 'gap year' trip across North and South America.  Only a few hours into the trip Cais' motorcycle apparently lost power and he was fatally struck by transport truck.

Cai has a brilliant future ahead of him in medical school.  He was a great guy.  He will be missed by his family and friends.
