Liam Dowson Tribute

After taking his first steps towards a new career in construction, Liam Dowson was looking forward to turning 22 and starting a new chapter of his life.

But birthday preparations turned into plans for his funeral when he was found dead in a Middlesbrough terrace house on Friday.

Liam, who lived with his mum in Elder Court, Middlesbrough, had already trained in mechanics with a youth inclusion charity.

He had just finished a bricklaying course and was looking forward to earning more qualifications for himself, this time in the field of scaffolding. To mark his birthday, he was planning a get-together with friends and family at his local, the Laurel on Borough Road.

But he will be buried just days before he would have turned 22.

Police have now confirmed they are not treating Liam’s death, at a house in Napier Street, Middlesbrough, as suspicious.
