Obituary

Lillian Crittenden Coile 74, a resident of Cleveland, died on Wednesday, April 16, 2008. She was born on June 25, 1933. She met and married the love of her life, Mack Coile, in 1949. Her life from that point forward was about God, home and family. She loved being a wife and mother. A true homemaker; she cooked 3 meals a day and as many could attest, made the best chocolate pies in the world. She loved to sew and make beautiful clothes for her children, grandchildren, her mother and herself. She worked long hours in the summer to can food for the winter. Everything was about taking care of her family. She stood up for what she believed in and never wavered from her principles. She loved Gaither videos and praising the God she loved and served. She was a devoted member of the North Cleveland Church of God for many years. Anyone who met her knew about her beloved husband Mack Coile. She loved him more than anything in the world. His greatest happiness was to pamper her. On January 29, 2005 their great love story paused. When Mack died a part of her died with him. Every day she longed to be with him again. She asked many times why she couldn't have gone before him because the heartache was so hard to bear. She prayed many times, asking God to let her come home to be with him. Those closest to her saw the sorrow of her loss and her hope for eternity. God called her to heaven answering her fervent prayer to be with her love.

In heaven she was greeted by her beloved husband of 55 years, Mack Coile, her father and mother Bill and Rachel Crittenden, her brother Fred Crittenden, and brother-in-law Carlin Crabtree.

She was survived by six children and their spouses: Jeannie Coile, David Coile and wife Cathy, Janet Bunch and husband Doug, Teresa Metaxas and husband Chris, Lonna Gattenby and husband Glen, Donna Marshall and husband Michael. One brother Bill Crittenden and one sister Pat Crabtree. Eight grandchildren: Wendy Barick, Jennifer Evett, Tiffany Bunch, Ben Bunch, April Coile, Nick Coile, Alexander Metaxas and Andrew Marshall; two great-grandchildren, Chase and Caleb Evett. Niece Lynette Crabtree and nephew David Crabtree.
