About
Her Childhood
We grew up in a two room house on Peters road in Fairburn, Ga. Seven kids and my mom & dad and sometimes my cousin Jayne would stay with us. We had lots of animals , dogs, cats, chickens, rabbits. you name it. We grew most everything we ate. We didn't have alot of money or store bought things so we had to learn to use our imaginations alot to entertain ourselfves. Even though we didn't have alot of what we would have like to have, God seen to it that we always had what we needed. I think that is what made us the people we are today. You learn that money is not what is important, although we do need it to live. We had an abundant supply of what was most important and that was love for eachother. She was born on April 3rd 1949 just 3 minutes older than her twin sister Vivian, They were inseparable. She met the love of her life Wesley Davenport when she was only 13yrs. old and they got married at age 17. They had a double cermony with her twin sister Vivian and Vivian's first husband at Harmony Grove Baptist Church.in Union City, Ga. She and Wesley later on had four children, Dwayne,(aka Wayne,) Patricia,( aka Tricia,) Jeff, and Vickie. She only had 4 grandchildren when she passed but has now has nine with 2 step grandkids. And she has two great grandchildren and one on it's way. But I'm sure they all know all about her. We make sure of that. God gave Lillian to us for a reason and without her here apart of us is missing and that;'s what makes it so hard to go on. But we do and I feel her beside me everyday . We did not say good bye to her ,,but see ya later.

My Heart still aches....
Nancy Mitchell Sep 27, 2010
And secret tears still flow
What it meant to lose you
No one can ever know.
But now I know you want us
To mourn for you no more
To remember all the happy times
Life still has much in store.
Since you'll never be forgotten
I pledge to you today
A hallowed place within my heart
Is where you'll always stay.
God knows why, with chilling touch,
Death gathers those we love so much,
And what now seems so strange and dim,
Will all be clear, when we meet Him.
Gone way too sooon
