Q. What did Lizabeth JoRae Baird dream of doing with his/her life?
A. Lizabeth wanted to help disabled children by becoming a special needs teacher. She graced our lives with her infectious smile and laughter. She was a free spirit with all the hopes of having a good life and to share that life with her family and friends. Her dream was to have a child of her own and live happily ever after as all girls dream of doing. Liz loved the outdoors and enjoyed fishing and boating. She loved to swim and spend time with her sister Kelsey. Lizabth loved to read books and spent much of her time listening to music.

Q. If Lizabeth JoRae Baird could have any job, what do you think he/she could have done?
A. Lizabeth had a few jobs in her short life, but the most memorable was when she worked at my place of employment. She started off as a night dispatcher and worked her way up to a Data Entry Processor working with the District Managers in the South in the Operations Department. She also has a lot of fond memories working at the photo place where she met many friends. She also worked in town at the local grocery store and food chain. She went on to work for a competitor of mine and was hopeful to make it to the Senior Customer Service Representative.

Q. What do you think would have been a good/alternative job for Lizabeth JoRae Baird?
A. Lizabeth could have become an accountant or a superior Customer Service Representative with her phone skills and ability to assist people and have the patience to do so. She definitely had a knack for it. She did eventually want to return to college and get a degree. Not as much to make big money but to make a profound impact on the handicapped. She was zealous about it, God bless her soul. I always thought she would make a great teacher. She was patient and kind and always wanted the best for her family.

A. Lizabeth's childhood was sorted with Mom and Dad. Her best friend was Kari Ann. Her favorite Grandmother was Linda Marshall and David, but also "Ba" (Esther Elizabeth) had a profound relationship with as her great granddaughter. She had an awesome relationship with Grandma Kathy and Grandpa Joe Barnecott, as well as Desiree and Linda Brewer. Her bio father was Kevin with a step-kid known as Kevin J.

A. Lizabeth was the social butterfly of the school. Every time I went to the parent teacher conferences they always told me she was the most social girl they ever met. She was incredible making and keeping friends. She was well liked by her teachers and classmates. She was awesome in math and was a good reader. She also liked to write now and then.

A. People saw Liz a social girl. I look back at the pictures and I see she is always involved with her friends and people that make an impact on her life. She was fabulous as she could talk to anyone and make him or her feel, comfortable.

A. I remember your face the day you where born. You had the most beautiful eyes and I was smitten with you. I could not recall another moment that I was so happy that I had could shout out loud. God I miss you and wish you where still here to enlighten my life. Your pumping carvings will always remain in my heart.

A. Math -
She was good in math and was possibly pursuing an accounting degree when she decided it would be best to help out the disabled and become a teacher for the handicapped. It was her dream, although she served well in a Customer Service position for many years. She was good with people and was responsive to their needs. She was loved by her coworkers and always had some fun during her dedicated time at work.

Q. Describe Lizabeth JoRae Baird's high school experience?
A. Lizabeth was not all that fond of high school. She thought it was a little beneath her to act like a child when all she really wanted to so was pursue her dreams far before any of the of other kids were even thinking about their futures. She did like the social experience, but was flippant about what high school was actually doing for her. She wanted to grow up so fast and get on with her life as an adult. She was always talking about when she would graduate, how she would be living her life they way she wanted and by no one else’s rules. She was a free spirit and highly regarded as an intelligent person.

A. Liz had an active social calendar. She was well liked by her peers and had many friends. When she was in grade school, her teachers told me she was one of the most social girls they had ever met and she made friends easily. They thought at times, she was too social, but it was not a bad thing, since she touched so many lives.
Liz loved people. She gravitated towards anyone who had a good sense of humor. She loved to laugh and smile.

A. One of her favorite teachers was back in grade school that thought she had an excellent mind and helped her to grow into the field of teaching. I cannot recall his name at this point.

A. Her school years started with a few elementary schools as well moved into more desirable places. Jackson grade school was fun for her as she was excited, as well as disappointed moving into a new area where all her friends were not. Since we moved from the city to the country it was a difficulty transition for her, but then again, she easily made friends and adjusted as we thought she would. She was happy for herself and her sister not having to go to a public school anymore, but a rural community school and college.

A. Liz had a great family life. We did prorvide her with whatever she warted. She had a TV, VCR, Stereo and a karokee machine. Liz had a nice bed room with all of her favoite colors.

A. Her nickname for her sister was Sissy. Grandma named her mouse. I think our favorite family stories can always be told about on the lake. Liz grew up with boating and skiing, tubing and swimming. She went into swim class before she was tall enough and still went off the high dive and graduated. We have so many memories at the lake. It was always a place on the weekend she could count on that Mom, Dad and Kit would always be. She relaxed there on a lounger many times, as well as participated in water sports and good conversations. I miss those the most.

A. She loved the Lord and was praying that she would be redeemed. Her passion was in singing to the music, She enjoyed raising hands to it. She did it weekely and it made her feel good. The Lord heard her and she is in Paradise.

A. We mark one year as a period of time, a landmark or a milestone. When you lose a child, you count the missed opportunities. How many times did I miss that smile on my daughters face in one year? How many shopping trips, lunches, swimming off the boat, trips to the lake, the walks with the dog, giggles and belly laughs have we missed out on in the past year since you have been gone? I still long to see your car parked in front of the house hoping that you are here to see your dad, your sister or me. The never-ending joy you brought into our lives is profoundly missed

Q. What were some of Lizabeth JoRae Baird's favorite foods?
A. One passion that I can think of that I recall was that she wanted to help people with disabilities. She was also an avid animal lover and wanted to make sure they were taken care of. She was also a great advocate for the elderly. She made some rocking fajitas and some pretty bad cookies. We laughed about those a lot. She loved Mexican and Chinese food.

Q. What were Lizabeth JoRae Baird's favorite travel destinations?
A. We did a bit of travel while Liz was young mostly to the popular Dells location in Wisconsin. We did have the chance to travel to great grandmas house in Hawaii and Grandpas house in California a few times. Liz was a road trip kind of girl. She would sometimes just get in her car and drive. She put a lot of miles on her vehicles taking her trips to places she wanted to see and visit. We also went to many Wisconsin lakes though the years. Her dream was to go to Vegas I think. She did a few junkets at the local casinos. I believe she always thought she would be lucky.

A. She did travel with her friend and hit the casino hot spots. She did like to gamble a bit, especially with her friends down at the Potowanami.
