I just happened to look up a song on the computer and I got the shock of my life when I found out that my favorite artist of all time was shoot to death. My heart goes out to his wife and kids and all his fans. I never had the chance to see him perform live but I love all of his music. I got my first cassette from a friend 15 yrs ago and I still have it. Lucky Dube was truly a blessing to me and him songs will forever live in my heart. I will miss you rest in peace my brother.

Lucky Dube was not only a musician and artist, but a prophet; he touched the lives of many Liberians during the Liberian Civil War with his music (No More War) and can’t ever be forgotten. For all those who remembered those moments can attest to the spiritual meaning of his lyrics. We lost loved ones during the war and were consoled with his music. Lucky Dube, you will never be forgotten. For me I can’t say, but I was privileged to attend his last live performance in Minnesota. I am grateful to have attended that concert and to see him perform most of his signature songs, not knowing he was to depart this earth a couple of days later is so ironic. We look forward in inviting all lovers of Lucky Dube to the Twin Cities in celebration of his life at the “LUCKY DUBE TREBUTE CONCERT’, which will bring together lovers of Dube in support of Charities he sponsored and to his foundation.. Call 763-458-5597 if you want to be a part of this historic event.

Lucky is not 'dead'! He has just left for the Life that he says in his songs where all men are equal..where no one is a slave! He is gone because that is God's Blessings for what he has given the world!...Remember the Song...'Blessed is the Hand that Giveth from the one that Taketh'?...He gave us that Inner Peace with his songs and God has blessed him by taking him home!

God Bless You True Friend!

To your Family..Mrs Dube and the Kids...May God give you comfort and the inner Peace!

Stay Blessed and Keep Striving for the Best for it will surely come!
