I am so sorry that this could have happened to such an upright and excellent person. I have read everything I can about Abhijit, and I respect him tremendously and hate that as a scholar his life was robbed by cowards.

since you left your body, a part of me is lost. so many people love you. with you gone, a part of them has also died. i like to believe, in the same way, you are living among us, among the ones you loved, and all who dearly love you. you are to me, still my beloved friend gantu, and that you will be for as long as i exist.

I have known Abhijit for more than ten years. He was my batchmate in Jadavpur Univerisity. I still cant accept that he is no more - we exchanged scraps in orkut just days before the tragedy. I am thankful to Ashwika for this webpage and I have a humble request.
Ashwika, can you please remove the picture on top. I belive its the one of Abhijit in his haloween costume. In this page to remember him, that photo pains us.
