Hells Angel Leader

San Francisco police are investigating the slaying of a Hells Angels leader in the city.

Mark "Papa" Guardado, 45, the president of the motorcycle club's San Francisco chapter, was shot Tuesday night about a mile from the group's clubhouse. Guardado died at San Francisco General Hospital.

Police think Guardado may have been in fight with a rival in another motorcycle group before he was killed. Witnesses told investigators that he and the gunman struggled before the shooting and that the suspect fled on a motorcycle.

The San Francisco chapter is one of the oldest Hells Angels branches in the country. The half-centry-old club is known for an outlaw image, and its members have been a target of police anti-gang and anti-drug efforts.

I think of you so often, even though we only knew eachother for a short time. Thank you for touching my heart and sharing your smile with me. To the ones that knew you will understand when I say....I feel bad for the ones that never got a chance to know you or have met you, You've touched so many in your years here. I wish I could turn back time.

I know that we were far apart the last years but we were always close in our hearts. Our children live on even though you do not, and we will always carry you with us till we meet again! I love you Darlin! And I miss you terribly!

Even though you were not my real uncle i always considered you my uncle I am so glad that you taught me how ride dirt bikes I will never forget it.We Miss so much and will always miss you. You will be missed forever. My entire family had nothing but love and respect for you. As you showed the same to us. I am so glad to have had you in my life and my familys WE LOVE AND MISS Shannon

You will be missed forever. My entire family had nothing but love and respect for you. As you showed the same to us. It has been a while. I remember the last time you came to Lowell was the last time I saw you. One of the kindest best men I will ever know.
