Not everything is black & white

What many of you don't know is her rap sheet is horrible she was a liar and stole and was trying to screw over Cpl. Cesar Laurean by keeping a baby that he did not want! She wanted him to leave his wife and he refused so she went crazy and claimed rape and hunted him down asking for money! It's sad she died but she should have kept her legs closed!

Lynn (Oct 03, 2012)

You are despicable. Am I to understand that because she wasn't perfect her memory should also be tainted? Tell you what, when/if you are able to function on a humane level, hell, a HUMAN level and come on down off that high horse of yours, then (and only then) will you rate to communicate with the rest of us. Until then, may God have mercy on you.

Never forget

I first met Maria in bootcamp 2006. We were in the same platoon (Oscar co. plt 4029) and lived across from me in the squad bay. During rifle qualifications she was my rackmate and was jst a funny, happy, and full of life person. She is still greatly missed, and will never forget the wonderful person she was.

Beautiful American Marine (BAM)

I deeply regret the Corps' failure to disseminate the protection order for Maria. The enabling legislation was huge, letting any & all courts, tribal, Federal & specific, put orders into NCIC.
That said, the lowest individuals I ever knew were Marines who victimized their comrades. This should never have happened.
Maria & her child should still be with us.
Godspeed & fair winds, Marine.
