From Her Brother

SPC Brad Heine Sep 21, 2008

I just want to thank everyone for thier kind words. She was an awesome person and a crazy fun older sister. I think about her everyday and my families lives will never be the same. Thanks again... Love you Sis, see you in heaven someday.

She Will Be Missed.

I did not know Megan that well, I only met her a hand full of times when she was married to her ex-husband. I served with him in Iraq, and feel for his loss. To Megan's family, words cannot express the sorrow you all must feel, and for that, I'm truly sorry.

I met megan when I was workin as a cashier n Bamberg. We started talking about Egypt n how she went there with her husband then. She had just got into town and she didn't talk to anybody so we started hanging out because my husband had deployed. She loved to get did up n go out. She was a fast learner 2 n that always surprised me bout her. She always made everyone laugh n had a positive outlook about everything. I hadn't talked to her since I left Bamberg and its sad to hear news like this but she was a great person to know and you'll always be missed n loved by many. U r an inspiration for alot of ppl and we're all blessed that you were part of our lives.

A Sweet Girl

I remember Megan when I was in Bamberg, Germany, she saw me in the clinic a few times and was always so chatty and friendly. She asked me where to go downtown since I'd been there a while, and I remember her being really pretty in person.

Her murderer was one of my CTC students in Bamberg, and he always creeped me out. He's going to get what it coming to him for taking away someone so beautiful and so kind to someone like me who she didn't know, but someone who she was just really friendly to. Justice is on it's way. To her family, know that people are praying for you all over the world who were touched by your daughters warmth and fun personality.

I cannot even begin to imagine the pain you are going through. I just wanted you to know that your beatuiful daughter was, and still is, a HERO of the United States of America. She always was, not just after her life was cut short. She was honorable, brave and I'm sure.. very muched loved. I never met Megan, but wished I had... and I'm sure I would have liked her very much. I am SO sorry for your loses. I will never forget her face, I promise. She will forever be in my thoughts. J. Thompson Charlotte, NC
