I remember Megan when I was in Bamberg, Germany, she saw me in the clinic a few times and was always so chatty and friendly. She asked me where to go downtown since I'd been there a while, and I remember her being really pretty in person.
Her murderer was one of my CTC students in Bamberg, and he always creeped me out. He's going to get what it coming to him for taking away someone so beautiful and so kind to someone like me who she didn't know, but someone who she was just really friendly to. Justice is on it's way. To her family, know that people are praying for you all over the world who were touched by your daughters warmth and fun personality.
The family of Megan (Heine) Touma would sincerely like to thank all of you for your kind words, great memories and especially for your prayers. Nothing will bering our daughter/sister back, but it is reassuring to know that justice is on the way.

I will never forget you Megan...you had the brightest smile. You were so much fun to be around always knew how to make people laugh. You were so excited about life and going into the Army. I wish we would have stayed in contact over the years. My deepest sympathy and prayers to all your loved ones. I'll see you again someday.
They got their suspect in custody. Justice is coming for you and your baby. God Bless. I wish your family and friends the best during this time. RIP and thank you for serving our country!
I cannot even begin to imagine the pain you are going through. I just wanted you to know that your beatuiful daughter was, and still is, a HERO of the United States of America. She always was, not just after her life was cut short. She was honorable, brave and I'm sure.. very muched loved. I never met Megan, but wished I had... and I'm sure I would have liked her very much. I am SO sorry for your loses. I will never forget her face, I promise. She will forever be in my thoughts. J. Thompson Charlotte, NC

I didn't know Megan, but I was an Army Soldier from 1978-1984 and I still have a strong sense of Family from the Army.
I Mourn Her as I would any Family or Friend. She was Beautiful and would have been an Outstanding Mother.
I Regret never having known Her and Wish that I could have, but I Hope and Pray that Megan and Her Baby are in a Better Place and have Better Lives.
I will not foget Her, Her Baby, Maria Lauterbach and Her Baby or Lt. Holley Winunc.
God Bless Them All.
My husband and I lived next door to her when she was stationed at Fort Drum, NY. We hung out a lot. We still cannot believe this has happened. You will be missed, Megan.
