Megan Touma Tribute

I have been here in Germany for almost 3 years, and I have known SPC Touma for about that same amount of time. During that time, we shared small talk and laughed about crazy things. But my most memoriable moment, had to about a month after i returned back to work after giving birth to my son our unit had a "commanders call" (where all our surrounding dental clinics come together and do training and get briefings) and I sat next to her and we began talking that same old small talk and then she proudly proclaimed that she was pregnant and even had a named picked out. We continued to talk and she asked questions about being a new mother and I tired my best to answer. Although, I didnt she her every day and didnt hang out with her on the weekends, we had one of the most special conversation a mother-to-be can have. It saddens me greatly that she will not be able to hold her newborn child for the first time and feel the rush of uncontrolable love that it brings. But, god had plans for her and her unborn baby as he does for all of us. Her untimely death only shows us how precious our lives are and we need to live them to the fullest.
Megan, YOU WOULD HAVE BEEN A WONDERFUL MOTHER AND YOU WERE A NICE GENUINE PERSON.
