Melanie Thornton Tribute

What can I say on the eve of this woman's death. she came out of nowhere and humble beginings to merge 90's new wave Euro music, a genre' that was never heared before. she was to this as Annie Lennox was to 80's rock,, both women had their tallented male musicians as accompaniments. Melanie wowed us with videos that depicted beauty, the unfortunate taboos of hidden agressions, and great singing. She was attractive, sophisticated, worldly and cultured beyond belief. Her videos featured beautiful people, great music and fascination with what audiences never were exposed to before. She was on her way to becoming a franchise, and like many great artists that preceded her, she died young and under tenous circumstances.

She will be missed for her fascination and originality having been a part of a decade that produced great artists that let their videos and art speak for themselves.
