A. Well, Justin could do alot of things. He worked offshore, roofed houses, helped lay carpet, did some electrical work, ect... Just about everytime I needed something done he could do it. If he couldn't he would atleast try to do it but most of it he could do.

Q. What is a funny childhood memory you have of Merrill Justin Scott?
A. When Justin was about 3 years old I took him & our 2 dogs to Coushatta Bayou to let the dogs play in the water while he & I did a little fishing. I had an old hot rod truck that would not crank when the engine got hot, I had a little boat in the back of the truck so when we got to the bayou I backed up to the water to unload my boat but I left it running with Justin sitting I thought in his seat while I unload the dogs & boat. Just as I started to pull the boat out of the truck I looked up to see Justin at the steering wheel & before I could move he put the truck in reverse & me him, dogs & truck went in the bayou. I did get it stopped before the cab went under & there was Justin at the wheel looking at me like a was crazy for being all wet. And for anyone that has ever been to Coushatta Bayou you know how far of a walk it is to the nearest house especially carrying a 3 year old on your shoulder & leading 2 dogs. It was tuff but I would give everything I own to carry him out of there one more time. I Love you son, Dad

A. Justin made good grades in just about everything but he was really good at math. I'm sure his favorite subject was P.E. though! Not to sure what the least favorite one was.

A. Justin was the only person that I knew of that quit high school, got his G.E.D., then decided he wanted to finish high school so he went back and got his diploma and graduated with his class.

A. Yea he decided he wanted to go back with a little bit of Mothers help.. lol She didn't even know that he had quit because he got up every morning and brought me to school and then would go to Northwestern for his GED class. He made me swear that I wouldn't tell mom, and of course I did. But I didnt have to. His retarded self parked on a sidewalk at Northwestern and they towed his truck... And who do the towing company call?? The registered owner of the truck, MOTHER!!!! lol

Q. Did Merrill Justin Scott have siblings? Were they close?
A. A. Yes he had a sister that was 3 years younger than him named Jessica. They were really close most of the time but they had their ups and downs also. That didn't matter though cause they may have been talking about the other one but they wouldn't let anyone else say anything! They really loved each other very much! He also had a half sister McKaylie that was only 10 when he died and two half brothers T.J., who was 8 and Kayden who was only 2 months. He was pretty close to McKaylie and T.J. also but they too would argue from time to time. Even so they would always make up. He never really got the chance to know lil' Kayden since he wasn't even quite 2 months old when Justin died but I'm sure if they would have had the chance they would have been close also. He also had a step brother, Douglas, that was the same age as Jessica. They didn't see each other that ofter but whenever Justin did go that way he would always stop and visit.

A. Justin was raised as a Catholic but as he grew up he ventured into other religions also. He attended and became a member of several different Churches throughout his lifetime. He loved God and loved going to Church. He might not have went to Church every Sunday but he always believed in and loved God.

A. yep jonnettye, in the biggest bowl that he could find in the house. One of our biggest fights was over him eating that damn cereal!!! We were getting ready for school one morning and we were sitting at the table eating cereal. He always had real bad sinuses and couldn't breath out of his nose good. So when he ate cereal he would slurp and smack horribly (which I can't stand). Anyway, I had ask him to quit like 3 or 4 times and the more i asked the worse he did it. So, finally I just stood up from the table and grabbed my bowl of cereal and through it on him AND RAN LIKE HELL!!!!! Needless to say he caught me...... The end lol

A. I couldn't imagine him living in any other country. Family was very important to Justin and I don't think he would have ever moved away from them. He would have to be able to drive to visit them whenever he wanted to.
