I'm rather pissed that Cuse and Lindehof had killed off Michael so quickly.

I once read an article that the reason so many LOST fans dislike Michael is because he is a lot closer to what they really than to whom they would prefer to identify with. Judging by the above comments, I think that person was right.

I think that Michael's character and experiences really disturbed fans because he was basically your average citizen who was shown to be capable of great darkness when driven to it. We are all like that, but we do not want to admit it.

I can't believe you used a website that is supposed to honor REAL people that have died to create a tribute to a fictional character from a TV show. I love "Lost" and all, but this is tacky.

He was definitely not likable by all, but he had good intentions. Cheers for him attempting to save the people on the island. Courageous acts always earn points on my book. Rest in peace Michael.
