SEVEN-YEAR-OLD Michelle 'Attitude' Gellard who died in a swimming pool tragedy was a cheeky little madam who could make anyone laugh.

The comments were made by the parents of the little girl who died on June 14th at Blackwater Leisure Centre in Maldon, Essex while taking part in a judo competition.

Michelle had won a silver medal at the event which turned to tragedy as she was rescued from the pool. Despite the valiant efforts of St John's Ambulance staff, paramedics and doctors at Colchester General Hospital she was pronounced dead at 3pm on Saturday afternoon.

i only met you onece michelle and that was at black water. i was in the group of 4 girls who found you. i wish i could have met you in a different situation that the one we ended up in but unfortunatley i cant rewind time. i hope you are heppy up there sweetie. please say hello to my grandad for me. all my love charlie xxxxxx

But do know that you are thought of and your ANGEL is waiting for her friends and family. So keep your head up and take it one day at a time. Easier said then done but I am praying for this Angel's Family!
