Left at the Post Office

When I was a baby Nana often looked after me when mum was working. One time after she had taken me shopping she went to the post office. In her haste to get back to work she forgot me, remembering shortly afterwards,  she came back to find me covered in cream, eating the buns she had bought earlier.

One of the nicest memories I have is when Nana used to sit me on her knee in the bolierhouse at the school where she worked. She used to rock me backward and forth and sing "Oh my baby"
