Natasha Jane Richardson was a British actress known for her performances on stage and screen.Richardson was brought up in London. Richardson was married twice. Her first marriage was to filmmaker Robert Fox, whom she divorced in 1992. She married Irish actor Liam Neeson in late 1994. Richardson and Neeson have two sons: Micheál and Daniel.

On 16 March 2009, Richardson sustained a traumatic brain injury when she was involved in a skiing accident Canada. S The next day she was transferred to Lenox Hill Hospital in New York where she died on 18 March after being removed from life support. She was just 45.
