About
She killed herself and here babes
Hope Orwick stabbed her daughters Emily (9) and Lindsey (8) to death and then shot herself in the head.
Louisville Metro Police Chief Robert White said officers were called to the home by a family member. The call came in just before 7:30 p.m., said police spokeswoman Alicia Smiley.Smiley said family members were still arriving at the scene from different locations late last night.
“We’re talking with them to get a little insight about what happened here,” she said.
Two police chaplains also were on the scene to speak with friends and family who were gathered outside the home. Police cordoned off the yard of the single-story brick home that sits on a block of neatly kept homes, many with large trees in the yards and Halloween decorations on the porches.

Please change the first section

I am Hope Orwick's aunt and I have a request. While I appreciate your tribute, could you possibly change the wording under the About section? It shows Hope in a very negative light and since this is a tribute and memorial to the family, maybe it should be kept less police report/news sounding.
I appreciate your consideration,
Beckie
My memory
Kimberly Jun 04, 2011
I remember one of the first times Katie came over to your house for a tea party. When I came to pick her up I remember Chris telling me about Katie playing on the piano. He was the one who said she had a talent for music. If not for him I don't think Katie would have traveled down that road.
My heart continues to break because you all are not with us. But to feel that way is selfish as you all are finally all together again. Free from pain and sorrow and keeping a watchful eye on those you love. I will never forget your smiling faces. Hope you always had a smile on your face that made me want to smile as well. Thank you for blessing my life by being in it, even if only for a brief moment.
