Peggy Robinson Tribute

Peggy had overcome many health related obstacles in her life. She often spoke of being on borrowed time since the age of 12, when her lung was removed in order to extend her life for the next 52 years. And again she was "saved" in 1992, when even the doctors said that she would need a miracle to survive. All if these miracles allowed her to raise two wonderful children, David (35) and Christina (26) whom she loved very much, into their adult lives. She watched as they each finished schooling and moved into their careers. She was able to attend David's wedding, to Elizabeth in 2006. And to watch as both of her children move to Minnesota. She also worked for many years for Sysco doing a job that she very much enjoyed. Along the path of life she made several different friends from many different places. After retirement she found her spiritual way through St. Ingnatius Loyola Cathedral in Palm Beach Gardens FL. With her church and friends she traveled to Bosna i Hercegovina and Dubrovnik which she spoke about in the years to come. Once her sister, Kathy, retried they began to fulfill their childhood dreams of living and traveling together. They stayed in Florida for the winter and went back to Michigan for the summers, making stops along the way in Tennessee, Texas, and Minnesota. As Peggy's health began to fail, Kathy was always by her side to help. Kathy would give updates on Peggy and called the children when she thought they needed to come. And we know that when she parted from this world, she was welcomed with open arms, from her mother and father, into the next world.
