Family

Pete 87 was born in Agrigento, Italy where he worked on his families farm. He served in the Italian Army and was taken prisoner of war where he became affiliated with the Red Cross to aid the soldiers.

Prior to moving to Tamarac, Florida he lived in Toms River,

New Jersey where he owned & operated Pete's Italian Deli.

Survived by his beloved wife Viola of 62 years. Devoted father & father-in-law of Carmella Pitti, Joe Pitti, Ramona Longo, Ron Longo, Antoinette DiRicco & since departed Anthony DiRicco.

Loving grand father of Angela,Maria,Renee & Michelle. Pete was also blessed to have two great grand children Megan 8 & Christopher 2.

A special thank you to the loving care of Vitas Hospice Care at Florida Medical Center.

we had a birthday party for megan she is nine yrs. old mommy was here for the party like always. you were very much missed not being with us.but you were not forgotton. love you daddy. i send you many hugs and kisses.from your loving daughter. pinky

I miss you so much and if my wish could come true, it would be to have you back with us. Everyday I think about all the good times we had with the family. You are the best grandfather that a grandaughter could ask for you are missed dearly. Ok pa talk to you soon, take care..
