Peter Fleischmann Tribute

What a privilege to have known Peter for the past 16 years. He was my sponsor, confidant, golf buddy, the father i never had and sooo much more. My Grandpa once told me if you could count your true friends on one hand when you died you had a full life, Peter was one of my five. I will celebrate all that he was and all that he inspired me to become. I,ll never forget the first time I met Peter at La Meas Men's Group, we were sitting in the back, when How it Works was read and it got to the part "there are no dues or fees for AA membership", he leaned over to me and asked "did they say no Jews or thief's, that counts me out". It was the first time I laughed in sobriety. That was 1993. Peter I'll will miss you my friend, thank you for showing me how to live with a sense of humor.
