Hi Pete can't believe how long it is since I last saw you I miss our little banter about music and I always remember when we were writing a song upstairs in your mums house all those years ago when you gave me the lyric 'Don't look back in anger' quite apt as you always gave so much love, peace and respect to everyone and that was before Oasis was even formed!

Hi Pete five years ago you were lifted up to heaven and still it hurts so much I miss you and not a day goes by without you crossing my mind I know our mum is with you now say hello to her and I am sure you have so much catching up to do and that you are looking down on everyone with LOVE. Three of my best friends are now in heaven you, mum and dad and I take comfort in that you are all together looking out for us and with our sister Pauline.

Pete it doesn't get any easier as the years go by and I miss you so much, you were always a caring wonderful brother and I want to wish you a Happy Birthday though you can't be with us I know you are looking down us. Lisa misses you so much and told me to tell you that you are an uncle again another little girl. Ethan and Amelie look at your photo in our room and say that you are in the sky with Jesus and soon little Penelope will no doubt say the same we will never forget you until we meet again.

Little brother on this day 47 years ago you entered the world a right little whirlwhind with a sparkle in your eyes and a fear of nothing. Throughout your life you always tried to put others first even when you were at your lowest! not big overblown gestures but the little things that really mattered, given with genuine love and affection. Always in my heart. x.

Pete can't believe it is four years to the day that you left us and not a day goes by when we don't think about you, you are always in our thoughts your smiling face on the photo in our front room makes us happy and sad. Happy that you are in a better place and sad you are not with us anymore.

So many memories! amazing how little snapshots keep popping up now and again! Like the new bathroom suite you errrm found!!! for my house! you were a rascal lad! lol

Love listening to your song, always brings tears to my eyes! dont play it much now though, I'm never able to get to the end without cracking! think I used every bit of my songwriting talent ( what there is of it, on that one) can't find the motivation to write anything else as it would be meaningless! I suppose I could pen some of your exploits and see what comes out of it... xx

Pete I hope you are having a good time up there with your dad and sister we are all thinking of you especially this time of the year when we remember having Christmas dinner in your mums house and party games afterwards...Kathy remembers you playing 'name that tune' with her, Lisa, Gary and Steven (a game she got for Christmas that year). You are going to be a great uncle again as Lisa is having a baby in June 2012. We remember you always laughing but determined to win! Anyway I have had a guinness or two for you this Christmas remembering the good times and laughs we had with you and James playing scrabble. Well anyway Pete another year over and it doesn't get any easier we are all missing you but we will meet again mate

Amazing day...... Peter it was forecast for rain for your party, we put up the Tents & Brolleys, but the sun shone all day; should have known you wouldnt let anything spoil the party. Mum had a lovely day with the family all around her. We released the ballons in the evening and I sang your song for you. Happy Birthday little brother. xx
