Rajaram Family Tribute

There is nothing that can justify taking others lives (especially promising children, and the mother-in-law) let alone your own. Do not be a coward, face life as it comes. It is not too difficult to make a decent living in the US if you have half a brain.

A short time ago in Iowa City Iowa we had a similar thing happen where the father killed the wife and all the children after terrible financial difficulties. How can we reach out to people who are desparate like this and help them to see this is not the answer to their problems? If we are open to our co-workers and friends, Lord help us to see into their lives in order to prevent such a tragedy. I did not know this family but I am certain their relatives in both countries are horrified by this tragedy. My heart goes out to them all as they heal from this. It is the worst of times in the financial sector and we all have to adjust and live through it. May God help us all. Susan Norman, Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

The one who was supposed to protect and stand by took the life of these innocent people. I feel angry and the same time I wish he had sought to some counseling before taking such a drastic step. It is unimaginable how he had the courage to do some things like this to his own family.

The tragic news of the Rajaram family numbs the mind of one and all. What could drive a man to take this kind of a rash decision ? I do not see any rationale at all. Losing money in the stock market in these times of uncertainty should not be the driving force. What right does a man have in killing his family for whatever difficulties he has. Its very very puzzling. I sincerely hope this is a lesson to one and all not to take such drastic steps. My prayers are with the family.
