Another year passes,
Weighing just as heavy on my heart,
The void even greater,
knowing we will always remain apart.

I cherish the memories,
and Thank God I had the chance,
To live this life and to have you
to share that one dance.

Noone lives forever,
but I thought if possible you'd be the one,
But I know now that your battle
Just could not be won.

that shine so bright up above
"Hello Mom and Dad,"
I send you my love.

As I get through each day
I feel you as I stand to face each fear,
Hoping the pain is more bearable
When this time comes next year.
