What can I say about Bob. He was Bob, personal and private. He was smart and liked to see new people play the games and win when they could. He never begrudged anyone the opportunity to play and to win. I can see him now with that lap-top that was so foreign to him at first and then you never saw him with out it. He would bring copies of his games for us to play after Buzzer Battle at Eck's Saloon and even though he would say this is the LAST one and I am leaving we could always get him to play longer. You are missed. I hope you are happy and peaceful now and reuinted with the ones you love.

Bob always knew how much we liked to hang out at Eck's after Buzzer Battle and play games in the front bar. He asked which game I like playing best to which I said Scattegories. Well, a few weeks later Bob gave me a game that he and his late wife loved playing that was similar to Scattegories. When he found the game at home, he found some game notes inside that his wife had written many years ago. I know that was tough for him but it was one of the most thoughtful gifts I have EVER received. Knowing the history of this gift and with Bob now no longer with us, that gift means even more now. Thank You! Bob. You'll always be remembered.

I'll always remember Bob's smile. He had a head bursting of knowledge that kept him actively enjoying a hobby he loved - Trivia.

I first met Bob when Skip and I moved here from Virginia. We had decided to try our hand at this game called TFO for Trivia buffs. We were hooked our first night, made it our weekly night out and never looked back.....until now. Bob was the first person Skip and I met that night. He came up, talked to Skip about the answer to some question (WAY over MY head but I kept acting like I knew what they were talking about anyway!) and a friendship was born.

In an attempt to find out anything I could regarding his passing, I happened upon a comment he wrote last year in The Westword newspaper. It was an article giving sample questions and answers from different Trivia games held around town. Leave it to Bob to find a mistake :)

The "Monster" cereal should be "Fruit Brutes" not bites. Thier mascot was a Werewolf. It is featured in several Quentin Tarentino movies including the needle to the heart scene in "Pulp Fiction". Of cource his box is labled 'Fruity Brutes'I guess for legal reasons.
You should check out "Buzzer Battle" and "Kwiz-Wizz Trivia" around town also.

I first met Bob at The Draft, back when Mike was doing the TFO show there. Just like Neesey he came over to our table to discuss a question, and history was made. After that whenever we were there, we could count on Bob to be there helping us with answers or asking us questions. That went on till the end, you could always count on Bob having some kind of Trivia going on whether it was his game or just some random questions. When he started his Trivia company Kwiz-Wizz he was always looking for help on the questions and was never upset by any criticism he received, he took it for what it was worth and moved on. I remember one afternoon George and I met him at Del Taco. They have free wi-fi and he needed help writing questions for a game of his. I thought an hour maybe and we would be done but, 4 hours later, we were still there writing questions, and having a great time discussing everything from History to bad movies. Bob was a big help to me when my mom passed away earlier this year. He always asked how I was doing and if I needed anything. Only someone with a true heart would do that. That was Bob Pitzer, trivia geek through and through. We Miss You!!!! Mick and George
