Biography
Robert Allen Palmer was a an English singer. He was the son of a British serviceman and was heavily influenced by what he heard in the late 1950’s and early 1960’s on American Armed Forced Radio. He had a passion for R&B music, and often did covers of the hits. He went on to have numerous Top 100 hits in his career, and a single number 1 hit “Addicted to Love”. He continued to refine his music style throughout his career.
He died of a heart attack in 2003, and is buried in Lugano Switzerland.
